A Classic, Romantic Wedding at Woodholme Country Club in Baltimore, Maryland

The wedding style of Jillian Rothstein (26 and a graduate student) and Benjamin Solomon (32 and an OB/GYN) was elegant and classic with a modern twist. With a chic color palette of champagne and ivory and the help of Sharlene Sherman Events, they hosted a sophisticated celebration at the Woodholme Country Club in Baltimore, Maryland. Jillian and Ben were married outdoors in a traditional Jewish ceremony. They said their vows under a wooden chuppah, decorated with flower arrangements of ivory roses and ivy, which photographed beautifully in the moments captured by Eli Turner Studios. The following reception took place in the country club's ballroom, where the walls were draped in ivory linens and the tables were covered in embroidered tablecloths and arranged with crystal chairs. Crystal chandeliers and candelabras cast a romantic glow on the party, and fragrant centerpieces of roses, orchids, hydrangeas and peonies decorated the room. On her wedding day, Jillian wore a stunning two-piece Monique Lhuillier ball gown with Swarovksi crystal beading in the bodice and a layered tulle skirt. Her bridesmaids wore Amsale dresses with varying necklines in champagne. Jillian and Ben kicked the party off with a surprise choreographed dance, and their guests danced the night away to music played by a 12-piece band called the Hudson Project. "Our dance reflected our fun and quirky personalities," Jillian says. "It really set the tone for the rest of a fantastic night."
