A Classic, Romantic Wedding at Vue in Columbus, Ohio
Brenda Rindler (28, a medical device sales representative) and Alonzo Jefferson (23, a medical assistant) met after the fireworks on the 4th of July in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Once the show was over, the two caught each other’s attention as Brenda was on her way to a nearby bar. Alonzo followed Brenda inside and offered to buy her a drink, and so the fireworks continued to spark from there. The couple had been dating for three years when Alonzo decided to propose to Brenda. They were traveling to North Carolina to visit Alonzo’s sick aunt, and after seeing his entire family, took Brenda and his daughter out to a nice dinner. They were seated at a table with a white rose arrangement (the only table with a centerpiece) but Brenda thought nothing of it. After dinner was finished, Alonzo and his daughter gave Brenda a card that asked her to be apart of their family. The couple had their wedding ceremony at Trinity Baptist Church, which was where they attended service and wanted to raise they own children in. The reception was held at Vue, an open space with polished concrete floors, wooden walls and an exposed ductwork ceiling. Rustic centerpieces made of wooden branches with hanging glass terrariums were placed on beige covered tables, surrounded by tea lights that created an elegant vibe. Wine barrels were constructed into tables to be used for different purposes, from the gift and remembrance tables to what held up the four-tiered cake with delicious flavor.
