A Classic, Romantic Wedding at The Atrium at Enterprise Square in Edmonton, Alberta

Daneel and Sal wanted their wedding to feel classic and a little old school ("For our old souls," Daneel says) but also urban and glamorous. A Catholic ceremony at Sal's church, St. Joseph's Basilica, brought the classic feel with a traditional ceremony amongst the gorgeous high ceilings and stained glass windows of the church while the reception in the open atrium at Enterprise Square in Edmonton, Alberta brought the urban glamor within the open, airy, historic former bay building. A color palette of of champagne, blush and gold with lots of sparkles completed the look. In fact, the entire style and theme of the wedding was inspired by Daneel's Vera Wang wedding gown--an ivory, strapless organza gown with a draped bodice and a tulle skirt. Daneel accessorized her gown with a cathedral length veil handmade by a friend, her Great Grandmother's pearls and gold sandals. "Wearing it was like a dream," Daneel says. The couple ended the night with a giant sparkler sendoff along the downtown streets of Edmonton, running through a 250 person tunnel of their closest friends and family. "It was the perfect way to start our marriage," Daneel says.
