A Classic, Romantic Wedding at Stockton Seaview Hotel & Golf Club in Galloway, New Jersey
After planning countless weddings for others, Jennifer Trass (29 and a wedding and event coordinator) finally had her dream wedding day with the love of her life, Brian Valois (30 and an executive chef). They had their classic, romantic wedding at Stockton Seaview Hotel & Golf Club in Galloway, New Jersey, with a pastel color palette of pink, ivory, and gold with accents of mint green, crystals and pearls. Saltwater Studios captured the beautiful wedding from the outdoor ceremony with an elegant gazebo backdrop to the indoor-reception celebration. "Brian and I wanted a classy and sophisticated wedding that would match the venue’s history and elegance," Jennifer says. Betina's at Parkview created elegant flower arrangements using blush and ivory roses, chrysanthemums and orchids. Reception-table centerpieces featured tall iron stands holding lush arrangements with cascading pearls and hanging candles. "Gold chiavari chairs with ivory cushions completed the vision," Jennifer says. Since Jennifer and Brian both work in the food-and-beverage industry, having good food for the wedding was a top priority. Mixing casual appetizers like chicken strips and shrimp-cocktail shooters with a more formal dinner of chicken paillard and risotto and creative summer drinks, they ensured that every guest found something on the menu to savor. Jennifer and Brian planned their wedding day always keeping their 110 guests in mind. "We wanted our wedding to be about our friends and family," Jennifer says, "a celebration to bring everyone together on our special day to enjoy the Jersey Shore and the beautiful lush grounds of Stockton Seaview, and to share our love for each other."
