A Classic, Romantic Wedding at Meridian Hills Country Club in Indianapolis, Indiana
Kate Kelley (26 and in sales) and Henry Hackl (29 and a manager) are self-proclaimed romantics, so it's no wonder that their wedding was an elegant affair in soft blush, champagne, ivory and gold. They chose Meridian Hills Country Club in Indianapolis, Indiana, as their venue. "The timeless beauty of the ballroom perfectly fit our chosen motif," Kate says. Votive candles and a garland of ivory hydrangeas, lavender and pink roses and greenery lined the long head table at the reception. Tall gold vases topped with similar flower arrangements decorated the other round dining tables. The wedding party look matched the classic decor. Henry and the groomsmen dressed in classic black tuxedos with bow ties while the bridesmaids wore floor-length champagne dresses. Kate wore a gorgeous trumpet-style dress with an illusion neckline and lace overlay. Kate and Henry treated their guests with a popcorn bar with takeaway boxes as a nod to the day Henry popped the question. They ended the night with a pretty ivory wedding cake and danced to classics like their first-dance selection, "It Had to Be You" by Harry Connick Jr. Conforti Photography perfectly captured the day—see more, below.
