A Classic, Romantic Wedding at Bellvue Manor in Vaughan, Ontario

Adriana and David had similar visions and ideas for their wedding decor and color palette. Although they didn't work with a specific theme in mind, their color palette of blush, ivory, white and gold incorporated into everything from the stationery to the flowers brought out the classic, romantic setting the couple was aiming for. After a traditional ceremony at St. Justin Martyr Church (David's family church), Lisa Mark Photography held a romantic, garden photography session at the Estates of Sunnybrook before everyone moved to the reception at Bellvue Manor. "With its high ceilings and marble floors, it was a perfect choice for the elegant wedding style we were going for," Adriana says. The blush roses and ivory hydrangea centerpieces by Floret paired with blush linens, napkins and ghost Chiavari chairs completed the transformation of their reception venue into the elegant and romantic space the couple envisioned. A final special treat at the end of the night were the favors: vanilla and strawberry cupcakes with strawberry buttercream and vanilla buttercream icing. "We wanted to prepare something special that the guests would like and that also tied in with our color theme. The cupcakes were so popular that most people couldn't resist and ate them right away!" Adriana says.
