A Classic Red, Black and White Wedding at RedTail Landing Golf Club in Nisku, Alberta

Black, white and lots of red--Sarah and Matt's wedding was dominated by this lovely and timeless classic color palette. Sarah always envisioned an outdoor wedding, and the venue at RedTail Landing in Nisku, Alberta allowed the couple to have an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour followed by an indoor reception. The golf course location also had an outdoor mini golf area where guests could play! Stunning red flower arrangements by Jewels and Rays added bright red pops of color to the aisle decor, the bouquets and the centerpieces. In keeping with their classic theme, Sarah wore a Maggie Sottero gown in light gold. "Choosing the light gold instead of the white really allowed for all the lace applique to pop," Sarah says. She paired the dress with a black belt and black Converse Chuck Taylors as a whimsical, fun touch. A unique final touch to the feel of the wedding were the pictures Shandro Photo took of the couple on Whyte Avenue, a popular downtown area in Edmonton. "We made sure to have some more edgy, fun pictures against a graffiti wall and at a street performer festival (the people weren't sure if we were an act or if we were really getting married!)" Sarah says.
