A Classic Purple Wedding at The Tapestry House in Laporte, Colorado

Ashlee Roybal (31 and a national sales assistant) and Glenn Weyrauch (37 and an IT senior analyst) met at a charity event. Glenn proposed a couple days before Christmas. “We were at my parent’s house about to eat dinner,” Ashlee says. “My mom had told everyone to start gathering around the table with all electronics off, when I heard a faint tune coming from somewhere. I began to look for where the song was coming from and found Glenn’s iPad. The second I saw the song ‘Marry Me’ by Train was playing, I immediately turned to find Glenn coming down the stairs with a bundle of red beautiful roses. Before I knew it, he was down on one knee, saying the most incredible words that anyone has ever said to me. I was in shock but still managed to nod my head and say, ‘Yes!’" Ashlee and Glenn loved their all-inclusive venue. “It was absolutely perfect,” Ashlee says. ?"It provided everything that we were thinking of to have on our day. There was a beautiful setting for private outdoor ceremony with a Pavilion area around the corner to hold a reception indoors as well as a cocktail hour that was secluded under a tent that opened up to the outside. It is a property that provides a little bit of everything. They worked with Palmer Flowers to create beautiful floral arrangements of hydrangeas, dahlias, roses, lisianthus and calla lilies. The tall centerpieces added some drama and the twinkling string lights added some romance to the ballroom reception. They loved their menu by A Catered Affair with Connie and adored their white fondant cake complete with Swarovski crystals by Babettes Feast.
