A Classic Vineyard-Inspired Wedding at Solterra in Lakewood, Colorado

Stephanie Smith and Seth Duhon-Thornton chose Solterra in Lakewood, Colorado, for their nuptials because they loved the classic vineyard feel of the hillside village between the green mountains and red rocks. Plus, it was only 20 minutes from downtown Denver! They had their romantic ceremony outside at The Retreat with the gorgeous adobe houses in the background. Wanting to add their wedding color to the ceremony site, they hung purple drapery between the taupe columns to serve as the altar. After their romantic ceremony, the couple headed into the ballroom for a classic reception. Purple linens covered the tables, and lush green and purple floral arrangements were displayed as centerpieces. Stephanie and Seth used shades of purple for their color palette and added ivory and green to match their vineyard venue. At the end of the night, the couple enjoyed a square, four-tier purple wedding cake decorated with ornate white fondant detailing and topped with fresh anemones.
