rn A purple palette of lavender, mauve and eggplant was paired with ivory accents to bring a feminine feel to the early fall fete of Stefanie Maclin (29 and a technical trainer) and Lorenzo Megginson (38 and a child care supervisor). “I wanted the ceremony to be romantic and timeless,” Stefanie says. The pair wed at a historic chapel featuring Gothic-style architecture and a stunning stained glass window. “We chose our venue because of its character,” Stefanie says. Escorted by her mother, Stefanie walked a petal-lined aisle that led to a grand altar featuring a heartfelt memorial to her late father. The newlyweds then made their union official by jumping the broom. Despite a 200-person guest list, the clubhouse’s soft lavender linens, candlelit lanterns and delicate blooms created an intimate atmosphere for their reception.
