Nicole, 26, works in marketing, and Mark, 27, a college wrestling coach, met through church. They became friends in college and dated their senior year. They then endured through a long-distance relationship for four years until Mark proposed. He surprised Nicole at the airport before his flight. After a four-month engagement, they were ready to finally be together, and they tied the knot in a classic, romantic ceremony on the roof of the Stanley. It was decorated with white rose petals and candles for a soft, intimate feel. They followed with a elegant reception in The Aspen room, which was decorated with gold crystal chandeliers, rustic wooden beams, antique ceiling tiles and big, beautiful rooms. Nicole and Mark wanted their wedding to be “rustic elegant” with a pink color palette with gold accents. They added wooden details for a little rustic flair. They also added vintage antique details, such as the gold picture frame escort card board, to match the venue. Loving peonies, the couple incorporated peonies into everything from the bouquets to the stationery to the wooden table numbers. “It was very soft and inviting as well as very romantic with a flare of vintage barn rustic,” Nicole says.

Nicole wore a strapless A-line gown with a crystal beaded belt that added just enough bling. “It really fit my personality to a T,” she says.
The bridesmaids wore long blush dresses. “Very simple and elegant,” Nicole says.
The bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the bride’s ranunculus, rose and peony bouquet.
Nicole carried pink ranunculuses, pin garden roses, white roses and white peonies in her garden-like bouquet.
