A Classic, Pink Garden Wedding at The Lace House in Columbia, South Carolina

Nadia Tchakarova (28 and a pharmaceutical representative) and Clay Campbell (35 and a telecommunications broker) planned a traditional Southern wedding outfitted in pastels and odes to Nadia’s Bulgarian heritage.

Nadia and Clay didn’t let a little rain dampen their spirits on their wedding day. “I remember dancing with my husband during our first dance, looking up and seeing the raindrops trickle down on the clear tent, it was magical,” Nadia says. Before the night ended, friends and family joined hands for a Bulgarian folklore dance.

Soaring pink, green and white floral arrangements spilled out of towering white vessels at the tented reception.

Guests went home with traditional Bulgarian favors: rose oil for the men and handkerchiefs for the women.
