A Classic, Personalized Wedding at Marriott St. Louis Grand in Missouri
Drawing inspiration from a colorful Ted Baker clutch the bride spotted while shopping, Esther Wolf (25 and an account manager) and Stephen Sharr (27 and works at Anheuser-Busch) planned a personalized fete filled with soft shades of sage, gold, lavender and pink. Succulents paid homage to the groom’s home state of Arizona, while gilded hops and a growler guest book symbolized Stephen’s career in beer. “I wanted him to feel just as included in the wedding planning as I was,” Esther says. “Our focus was on hospitality and fun.” With the help of their wedding guests, Esther and Stephen planted a lemon tree as a symbol of their commitment. As a playful nod to the couple’s initial encounter on Tinder, guests sipped signature “Swiped Her Off Her Feet” cocktails of lavender vodka and champagne. A bar stocked with Anheuser-Busch beer was a must for the groom, who had a craft beer called “His Wolf Pup,” in honor of Esther’s maiden name.
