Sasha, 25, works in public relations and Mike, 24, a mechanical engineer, exchanged vows on The Oread Hotel on the University of Kansas campus. “I wanted a lovely garden-party feel with lots of flowers and crisp spring colors,” Sasha says. She completed the look with a white, pink and green color scheme and lush flower arrangements.

The bride wore ivory Grazia peep-toe heels with a crystal accent on the front.
Sasha wore a Tara Keely mermaid gown complete with a rhinestone and bead belt from The Gown Gallery. "It was just what I envisioned wearing that day," she says.
The bride wore her hair in an updo and completed the look with glamorous, natural-looking makeup.
The bridesmaids wore cocktail-length halter dresses in spring green from David's Bridal.
The bride carried a white and pink arrangement of peonies, roses and whimsical vines.
The bridesmaids carried softly pink and green tinted hydrangea and rose bouquets.
The groom wore a classic Men's Wearhouse tuxedo with a silver vest and tie while the groomsmen wore tuxedos with green vests and ties to match the bridesmaid dresses.
The groom wore a simple white peony boutonniere.
"When The Oread Hotel was built with the scenic views of campus from the fifth-floor terrace, it was naturally our first choice," Sasha says.
When Mike proposed the couple had been living apart for a year. "I was excited to move on to this next stage of live," Sasha says.
"I think the venue was a huge reflection of us as a couple," Sasha says. "Mike and I met at the University of Kansas and having the ceremony overlook our alma mater was special and personal."
Guest's seats were marked with funky DIY calligraphy place cards.
"I love flowers and wanted gorgeous flower arrangements at the reception," Sasha says. The lush centerpieces were made of hydrangea, roses, peonies and lily of the valley.
The table names were named after fun facts and favorite memories from the newlyweds and included a definition and photo.
The couple enjoyed a two-tiered white buttercream cake adorned with a fresh peony and roses.
After lively jazz music played throughout dinner, the DJ "kicked things up a notch with a variety of great dance songs that kept the dance floor packed all night," Sasha says.
