A Classic Outdoor Wedding at Legare Waring House in Charleston, South Carolina

Catalina Lehmann and Corwin Parker had a classic summer wedding with a blue, white and yellow color palette. "Since we did a destination wedding in Charleston, I wanted to embrace the city's southern charm throughout the weekend," Catalina says. "I have always loved the classic look of blue and white chinoiserie ginger jars/vases, so I used the pattern as the inspiration for our decor." In fact, Catalina's grandmother started collecting ginger jars after the couple got engaged, and they were used as centerpieces for the reception. They also framed the couple during the ceremony, which took place on the lawn of the estate. "Since we got married in June, I wanted our looks to withstand the Charleston heat and humidity," Catalina says. She  stunned in a form-fitting dress with lace and tulle, which resembled her mother's wedding attire, and a cathedral length veil. Corwin opted for a blue suit, and he wore pineapple socks along with the groomsmen. Lemon escort cards showed guests to their seats in the tented reception. Moss hung from the ceiling, but it didn't detract from the blue, white and yellow color palette of the place settings and centerpieces. Flower arrangements included white peonies, blue hydrangeas, white roses, yellow ranunculus and blue tweedia. The couple also brought in a gelato ice cream truck and served a single-tiered cake topped with blueberries.
