A Classic Outdoor Wedding at Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Santa Susana, California

Angie Gonzalez (30 and an ultrasound technician) and Jason Gonzalez (34 and a realtor) had been together for twelve years before they tied the knot. They initially met when Jason's mother was in the process of buying a home and Angie was helping to process their loan. Six months later the couple found themselves on their first date and the rest is history. For their wedding, the couple planned a classic, romantic affair at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch, a Spanish style villa tucked away in the Santa Susana Mountains, a quick half an hour drive from Los Angeles. The gorgeous property boasts a stunning main villa with regal Spanish architecture and décor, an array of outdoor spaces and an extensive property with shaded groves of olive trees, sparkling fountains and views of the nearby canyons. The couple opted for a simple, elegant blush, ivory and gold color palette for the day and formal attire added a traditional touch. The couple kicked off the celebration with a ceremony in the sunlit garden with 150 of their family members and friends in attendance. A lively reception followed, timed perfectly with the sun set. "The mountains in the background along with the sunset made for a beautiful, dramatic entry into the reception space for all our guests to enjoy," says Angie.
