A Classic Mountain Wedding at Beano's Cabin in Avon, Colorado

Regan Ricart, 27, works in marketing, and John Reilly, 29, an engineer, met at a wedding. Jack lived in California and Regan lived in New York City. They dated long distance for nine months before Regan moved to California. John proposed six months later on the beach at sunset. The couple exchanged vows overlooking the Colorado mountains in Avon, Colorado, followed by green and pink cocktail hour on Beano’s Cabin’s patio, followed by a rustic indoor reception. “Our wedding was a sophisticated, black tie affair but also a very laid back and welcoming event,” Regan says. “We wanted it to reflect the importance of such a monumental occasion, but also represent the fun, casual attitude of us.” They used the natural beauty of the mountains for the ceremony decor, and decorated the reception with exposed wood and natural antler chandeliers. The centerpieces were lush coral and white floral arrangements balancing on pieces of wood. They used coral as their main color to pop against the otherwise neutral color palette.
