A Classic Morning Wedding at Brennan's of Houston in Houston ,Texas

This couple started married life early with a sweet morning wedding. The love story of Judy Liu (43 and an attorney) and Jack Price (47 and a physician) came full circle when they got married at the same church where they met, Christ the King Presbyterian Church in Houston, Texas. “Our faith is central to our lives, so it was important to us to be married in a church before our family, friends and church community,” Judy says. Everything about their wedding was classic, from the bride’s sheath-style lace wedding dress (the first one she tried on) to the fresh, romantic floral arrangements. “Since we got married in April, the color palette for the dresses, flowers and wedding invitations incorporated spring colors,” the bride says. Blooming Gallery in Houston provided the bouquets, flowers for the church and flowers for the reception. ”They were all gorgeous,” Judy says. The couple added a twist on tradition at their reception at Brennan’s of Houston: They had not one, but five wedding cakes. “Jack loves cake, so it seemed appropriate,” Judy says. “The cake buffet by Nadine Moon of Who Made The Cake made for a great presentation and was a big hit.” The sweet theme continued in the wedding favors. Judy’s sisters baked homemade cookies using two of the bride’s favorite recipes, and packaged them in custom-printed favor bags. “We hope everything we did reflected our joy and gratitude,” the couple says.
