A Classic, Modern Wedding at the Wichita Art Museum in Wichita, Kansas

Virginia (Ginny) Bauer (27 and a paralegal and law office manager) and Brian Dennis (31 and a police officer) met while working together at the Alvamar Golf Course. The couple decided to get married at the Wichita Art Museum in Wichita, Kansas. They had a rustic, garden-inspired wedding outside of the museum with fall leaves decorating the aisle and a birch wood arbor framing the alter before headeding inside for a modern reception. Inspired by the orange, yellow and blue Chihuly chandelier, they used those colors throughout their wedding with everything from the royal blue bridesmaid dresses and coral groomsmen ties to the orange linens napkins and orange centerpieces. They ended the night with dinner from Muse, Wichita Art Museum’s restaurant, and dessert from Cake Affairs, which topped the cake with University of Kansas mascots for some alma mater pride.
