A Classic Mansion Wedding at CJ’s Off the Square in Franklin, Tennessee
After Stephanie Evans (26 and a process engineer) moved to work, her new coworkers insisted that she meet the other new coworker in the packaging. The same friends were telling Manuel Sastre (30 and a reliability engineer) all about the new engineer in manufacturing and introduced the pair at a colleague's going away party. Stephanie and Manuel immediately started dating and got engaged when Manuel proposed before sunrise in her apartment. "I received an early morning phone call from Manuel that he was at the door but had forgotten the key," says Stephanie. "When I got up, I realized the whole living room floor was covered with rose petals and hundreds of candles flickering in the darkness." After a day of celebrating, the couple began planning their timeless southern affair in Franklin, Tennessee. After a traditional church ceremony at St Philip Church, guests were invited to celebrate at CJ’s Off the Square. "The porch on arrival to CJ's was breathtaking with flowers and greenery entwined to give the arriving guests a wonderful welcome to the reception," says Stephanie. "We had ivory tablecloths with blush lace overlays and trumpet vase centerpieces." An elegant blush and silver color created a romantic ambiance for the outdoor wedding. The charming tablescapes included blush linens with a lace overlay, soft florals and mercury glass votives. Lush arrangements of pink hydrangea, garden roses, and white orchids were placed in clear trumpet vases and surrounded by candles. "The garden was my absolute favorite—it was so beautiful with a stone walkway and pretty gazebo.," says Stephanie. "The venue was small, romantic, elegant and exactly what I had envisioned for my wedding!"
