A Classic Lime Green Wedding at The Manor House in Littleton, Colorado
Kim Murray (26 and a high school counselor) and Ehrich Weis (26 and a police officer) met in college at Colorado State University. Six years later, Ehrich proposed at City Park at sunset. “It was very, very sweet and special,” Kim says. The couple chose The Manor House in Littleton, Colorado, for their wedding. Kim wanted to get married in a big, beautiful, classy house, and Ehrich wanted a house party-feel to the reception, so it fit both their desires perfectly. Wanting some fun, bright color at their wedding, Kim and Ehrich used a classic black-and-white color palette with pops of lime green throughout all the details. Flowers Forever Design created the modern lime green orchid and black calla lily floral arrangements including the lush bouquets and simple boutonnieres. The couple exchanged vows inside the house before heading to their tented reception outside. Kim and Ehrich love wine and started making their own a few years before the wedding. So, the table numbers were bottles of homemade chardonnay and the favors were small, single glass-size bottles for each guest to take home. Kim’s mom made a label for each bottle out of the couple’s engagement photos. At the end of the night the couple enjoyed an Irish cream, orange blossom and chocolate, black-and-white fondant wedding cake topped with lime green orchids from Das Meyer and danced into the night to DJ Tasos from Elite DJ Entertainment.
