A Classic Jewel-Toned Wedding at Seawell Grand Ballroom in Denver, Colorado

Andreya Vecchiarelli (29 and an office manager) and James Flanigan (31 and a teacher) met at a friend’s birthday party. Wanting their wedding to also be a party, the couple chose Seawell Grand Ballroom for their soiree. They loved that it was clean slate so they could completely customize it into their vision. Andreya and James used a jewel-toned color palette including shades of blue, purple and burgundy. The bridesmaids, however, all wore different colored dresses in the same style for a more personalized, casual look. The reception was lit with purple uplighting and decorated with garden-inspired metallic centerpieces such as the tall gold trees decorated with purple flowers. Andreya and James entered the reception through a paper banner with their names on it (like a sports team would) because they’re both athletic and wanted to do something fun. One of the best parts of the night was the lobster mac ’n cheese for dinner from Epicurean Catering.
