A Classic, Historic Wedding at Kyle House in Roanoke, Virginia
Kyle House in Roanoke, Virginia, embodied a modern style while still maintaining its original Victorian look—perfect for the classic nuptials of Megan Hall (26 and a paralegal) and Adam Myers (25 and a painter and contractor). They felt the 19th-century building combined with a contemporary style truly reflected their personalities, creating a gorgeous backdrop that Megan and Adam envisioned. Classic gray hues blended well with purple (Megan's, and her late grandmother's, favorite color), decorating the details—from the light gray groomsmen vests and pants to the bridal bouquet filled with purple blooms arranged by Green Designs. The ceremony took place inside the barn chapel on the property, where Megan and Adam shared their first kiss in front of a twinkling string-light backdrop. Kate Pope Photography captured Megan and Adam making their grand entrance inside Kyle House, where silver candleholders with crystal accents created a nice glow on dining tables. After a delicious meal of creole shrimp with grits, beef brisket and maple-glazed salmon, the couple unveiled a tower filled with several varieties of cupcakes: chocolate with salted caramel, lemon blueberry and strawberry.
