A Classic Garden Wedding at Manor Restaurant in West Orange, New Jersey
This wedding will make you want to get married in a garden. When Jillian Tufano (25 and an accountant) and Franco DiFabio (25 and an auditor) were searching for venues, Manor Restaurant’s ceremony site instantly caught their attention. Antique lanterns marked its entrance as iron archways covered with pink roses and eucalyptus lined the aisle. On their wedding day, little decor was needed to highlight its natural beauty. The bridesmaids walked through the gorgeous walkway in long, pink Bill Levkoff dresses, carrying a pink and white rose bouquet arranged by Rene's Flower Designs. Jillian’s procession added a classic touch to the setting. She wore an A-line David Tutera dress with embroidery and beading along the bodice, as its lace trim glided over the stone steps to their pergola. After Jillian and Franco shared their first kiss, 200 guests showered them with white rose petals. The rest of their celebration was inside. Champagne linens and gold candlestick centerpieces stood out against the dark-wood walls, as pomanders of hydrangeas and roses were placed at the center. All found their seats listed on heart-accented escort cards, with gold “his” and “hers” arrows marking Jillian and Franco’s spots. After dinner, live music from the Almost Easy band took over the room. “They had the dance floor going the entire night,” Jillian says. “Our venue also had a public bar, so we took the fun upstairs and had a great after-party. It was nice to have something close that encouraged everyone to stick around and keep the night going.”
