Cristina Fragio (30 and works in advertising) and Joel Disberger (30 and Oilfield Services operations manager) met during a night out on the town in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Joel proposed through a scavenger hunt around their home in the Netherlands. The couple chose The Kelly Gallery in Stilwell, Kansas, for its location in the city without feeling like it was in the city. They loved the open country side, woods, outdoor pavilion, pond and gardens for their romantic garden-inspired wedding. With help from the pros at You're Invited, Cristina and Joel used a purple and blue color palette and added rustic wooden, garden-inspired details throughout the decor. “Blues and lavenders always remind me of my mother's background and upbringing in the Austrian mountains,” Cristina says. “My mom always had violets and forget-me-nots in the house as I grew up.” At the end of the night, guests went home with handcrafted tea from the Netherlands along with vintage books for them to read while they enjoyed their tea.

The bridesmaids wore floor-length dresses in shades of purple and blue and the groomsmen wore classic Spanish chaques.

Cristina wanted a classic dress with long sleeves. She fell in love with a Franc Sarabia silk A-line gown and completed the look with a seashell and crystal belt.

The wood centerpieces included seeded eucalyptus, scabiosa and hydrangeas for simple, rustic centerpieces.
The couple filled the floating candle vases with purple and blue hydrangeas for a garden feel that matched the color palette.

Cristina and Joel enjoyed a three-tier wedding cake iced with textured buttercream and decorated with lavender and white roses.
