A Classic Formal Wedding at Golden Gate Club in San Francisco, California

Daniela Peregretti and Alan Grady wanted “a modern city wedding and a super-fun party” that incorporated their respective Italian and Brazilian cultures. She added a full overskirt to her detailed, formfitting gown with a plunging neckline and carried a delicate white bouquet of flowering pieris and sweet peas. Alan choose a classic black ensemble accessorized with a bow tie and a modern calla lily boutonniere. The traditional ceremony took place at Presidio Chapel before guests headed to a formal reception at Golden Gate Club that boasted a black and white color palette accented with hints of gold and greenery. “I loved the all-white and lush green look,” Daniela says. “I think it was perfect in that room with floor-to-ceiling windows.” The couple also included several DIY elements, including Patron bottle name tags and an illuminated “The Gradys” neon sign displayed on the DJ booth. As a nod to their heritages, Daniela and Alan served Italian food and played Brazilian bossa nova throughout dinner.
