A Classic, Elegant Wedding in Dallas, TX

Kady’s garden bouquet of freesia, peonies, roses and hydrangeas was embellished with a rhinestone brooch her grandfather gave her grandmother over 60 years ago. The bridesmaids carried textured arrangements of herbs and flowers.

As guests arrived they entered the sanctuary through large white double doors where gold scripted monogrammed letters “B” and “K” hung from a matte gold satin ribbon framed with fresh laureal leafs.
Gilded urns filled with hydrangeas, roses, lilacs, lilies and orchids flanked the altar.
Crystals were draped over all of the arrangements. “I’ve always loved the romantic whimsical look of crystals hanging from branches,” explains Kady. Two large candelabra centerpieces adorned the head table; multiple small floral arrangements and gilded pillar candle stands ran the length of it.
A touch of the south included the lemonade being served in Mason jars sparkling with a white sugar rim, mint sprig, and personalized monogramed straws.
“The overall look and feel of our wedding was Southern elegance,” Kady recalls. The plantation-style Belo Mansion’s large ballroom was the perfect fit.
The five-tiered buttercream cake was adorned with piping, pearlized shimmer and the couple’s logo.
