A Classic, Elegant Wedding at Windows on the River in Cleveland, Ohio
Wanting to have a wedding with indoor and outdoor events, Theresa Socha (27 and a bartender) and David Socha (34 and a general manager) fell in love with the space at Windows On the River in Cleveland, Ohio where they used blush tones and candlelight to create a classic and elegant environment. "I would say the theme of our wedding was classically elegant with a downtown modern feel," Theresa says. Emily Millay Photography followed the entire wedding day from the traditional ceremony at St. Anselm Catholic Church to the beautiful reception. The wedding party matched the elegant style perfectly, with Theresa's bridesmaids wearing Bella Bridesmaids short champagne dresses and David's groomsmen wearing formal black tuxedos from Men's Wearhouse. Theresa also matched the style wearing a beautiful Alyne Bridal strapless, white wedding dress from All Brides Beautiful with a ball-gown style. "The dress flowed out almost Cinderella like. I wanted a white, somewhat traditional wedding," Theresa says. The reception space was decorated with white linens and sparkling chair covers. The wedding-day florist, JD Ballantines, created the centerpieces using white and pink roses and white hydrangeas in alternating heights. "It was all very elegant and when the sun went down, everything glowed by candlelight," Theresa says. She is especially grateful to Sharon Margiotta of Shar'n Smiles Invitations for helping create the elegant wedding of her dreams. "She did everything paper for my wedding and helped me to bring everything together," she says. While their wedding was classic and elegant, Theresa and David were sure to make it a fun time for everyone. David even grabbed the microphone at the end of the night and sang Journey's "Don't Stop Believin' " to Theresa while guests formed a circle around them. "Honestly, it was one of the most fun times I have ever had and I think the majority of our guests felt the same way considering almost all of them stayed until the end of the night," Theresa says.
