A Classic, Elegant Wedding at Westmount Country Club in Woodland Park, New Jersey

Maria Deraco, 41,  and Charles Battocchio, 45, were introduced through mutual friends and got acquainted over drinks one night. "Four hours later we were planning our next date," says Maria.  "A year and a half later, at a ski resort, after an exhilarating day of skiing, we were sitting in front of the fireplace in our room and he proposed." The pair began planning their classic, simple and elegant wedding soon after. "We had our wedding at the Westmount Country Club in Woodland Park, New Jersey. My cousin got married there so I knew that the location was beautiful and that the food and drinks would be excellent and plentiful which would meet the expectations of my very Italian family. The cocktail hour was in a gorgeous room with a beautiful crystal chandelier and baby grand piano," Maria says. "The Westmount is a graceful mixture of traditional and modern. The entire wedding reflected the joy and happiness we wanted to share with our family."
