It didn’t take long after getting engaged for Jennifer Kent (25 and a human resources consultant) and Kojo Enu (30 and a construction management project engineer) to lock down their one wedding necessity: a planner. “I told the Modern Day team we wanted a black-tie wedding, and they knocked it out of the park,” Jennifer says of trimming their ballroom bash with gilded centerpieces, dahlia-filled arrangements and plenty of candlelight. “Our main goal was to create a space for those guests who wanted to party and a space for those who wanted to relax without feeling left out." Kojo ditched his formal kicks for high-top sneakers to ensure an evening full of dancing.
