A Classic Double Wedding at Union Horse Distilling Co. in Lenexa, Kansas
Armed with a summer-worthy color palette of coral and mint, twin sisters Emily Riscoe (22 and a teacher) and Molly Riscoe (22 and a nurse) and their husbands-to-be Mark Mast (23 and a software developer) and Eric Huber (23 and an electrical engineer) threw an over-the-top double wedding surrounded by 350 guests. “We definitely lucked out knowing our two favorite colors paired together perfectly,” Molly says of their design scheme.
Prior to the start of their shared ceremony, the twins flipped a coin to determine who their father would walk down the aisle first. “It was less about who would be first and more about which twin would get to see the other walk down the aisle,” Emily says of following Molly to the altar. Afterward, the sisters changed into matching high-top sneakers before joining their bridesmaids in a surprise choreographed dance. “The performance really set the tone for a fun night filled with lots of dancing,” Emily says.
Bridesmaids wore mint and coral chiffon dresses, while Emily and Molly’s little sister wore a peach sheath for her role as the shared maid of honor.
