A Classic Destination Wedding at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa in Maui, Hawaii

Desiree Hunter (27 and a product manager) and Aaron Navarrete (27 and a banker) had a classic wedding with all the traditional fixings, just at a destination location: the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa in Maui, Hawaii. "Maui offers so much with its beautiful scenery, hospitality and ambience," Desiree says. "It was a traditional wedding, just in a different setting." From the gecko, guests had an idea of the blush and champagne palette through the ivory wedding invitations decorated with elegant calligraphy, captured on camera by BellaEva Photography. Desiree carried a bouquet of white orchids speckled with pink and white roses, which blended nicely with her white dress that had a scoop neck and layered skirt. The outdoor ceremony used nothing but the surrounding lush, green foliage as decorations, and the reception took place on the venue's lawn with paper lanterns strung from above. They kept the white cake simple, topped with white and pink roses and displayed on an elegant stand for guests to admire (and eat, of course).
