A Classic Coastal Wedding at The Cliff House in San Francisco, California

Michelle McKenzie (29 and a nurse) and Philip Sakala (32 and a US Army Captain) wanted a very soft, classic, elegant, and dramatic theme for their wedding. Swirl ivory tablecloths, champagne colored napkins, gold Chiavari chairs paired with ivory and blush flowers captured the look they were aiming for. Large arrangements of ranunculuses, hydrangeas, and roses were displayed in large oval champagne colored glass containers for the centerpieces. Michelle carried an ivory bouquet filled with phalaenopsis orchids, roses, ranunculuses, complemented by soft touches of green, while the bridesmaids carried blush roses with touches of a green, which complemented the classic black dresses they wore. Michelle wore a classic ivory modified A-line gown covered in beads and lace. The ceremony was held outdoors on a balcony, overlooking the cliff at sunset. The reception moved indoors, but allowed guests to float between the reception room and the balcony, so that guests could enjoy the gorgeous view all night long.
