A Classic Church Ceremony and Modern Reception in Denver, Colorado

After a romantic first look in an ornamental grass garden, Ivy Lin and Michael Lersten met up with their bridal party for more photos. Ivy stunned in a A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline and elaborate beading, which she paired with a small white bouquet, an updo and a classic veil. Michael wore a classic black tuxedo, and the bridesmaids donned soft gray dresses in various silhouettes. Next up was an intimate church ceremony at Our Merciful Savior Episcopal Church. It was simply decorated with white flowers and greenery along the pews. For the reception at SKYLIGHT, Ivy and Michael highlighted the space with shades of white, gray and tan with lots of greenery. "We wanted a lot of soft candlelight for dinner as well and to mix height in with our centerpieces," Ivy says. "My one floral request for the reception was a hanging centerpiece over the dance floor. I wanted to make it feel like you were dancing underneath an outside canopy of greenery." Guests sat at rustic wooden farm tables, and they also received origami swans (handmade by the bride's grandmother) as favors.
