A Classic Christmas Wedding at the Omni New Haven Hotel at Yate in New Haven, Connecticut

It didn't take long before Drew Gniadzowski (33 and a finance manager) and Shannon Hartney (29 and a 3rd grade teacher) knew they really liked each other. After a mutual friend introduced them, the pair knew they were meant to be. The pair chose a white and silver color palette for their Christmas themed wedding with subtle green accents. "We both love the Christmas season, which is why we chose our wedding date," says Shannon. "But while this is true, we didn't necessarily want the red and green colors to dominate. Silver and white felt elegant and festive to us." Sophisticated arrangements of Ivory hydrangeas, roses and orchids interspersed with silver brunia and dusty miller leaves and intimate floating candles in pillar vases made the decor even more magical. After a traditional ceremony at the couple's church, everything took place at the Omni Hotel in New Haven, which was decorated festively for the holiday season.
