A Classic Chevron Wedding at Franciscan Gardens in San Juan Capistrano, California

Jenna Maine (27, school counselor) and Matt Brummett (28, teacher) met at work. Jenna was planning a fundraiser for the Pep Squad program and she needed teachers to volunteer to supervise the Powder Puff game. Matt of course said yes and the two went on a first date a few months later! When it came time to plan a wedding, the couple chose the Franciscan Gardens in San Juan Capistrano, California. "It is a beautiful and historic location that was close enough for friends and family, but in such a quaint little area," Jenna says. The couple chose a romantic and classic theme inspired by their grandparents wedding photos, "We loved how classic and timeless they looked!" Matt even wore a tux similar to the one his grandfather wore on his wedding day and Jenna chose a simple lace strapless dress. The bridesmaids wore light pink one-shoulder dresses and the groomsmen went with formal black-and-white tuxes. The wedding was perfect down to the peony and hydrangea floral details. The one slip up though was Jenna forgot to put on her veil before the ceremony! She threw it on after and the photographer still got a few photos with Jenna wearing it! The best part of the entire day? "I don't think either of us stopped smiling that entire day. Walking out through a tunnel of sparklers into a vintage car with "just married" on the back was something we will never forget," Jenna says.
