A Classic Brunch Wedding at the French House in Cincinnati, Ohio
Seeking an outdoor location filled with natural beauty, Liz Rossi (29 and an art teacher) and Mike Riel (31 and a manager) came across the French House in Cincinnati, Ohio, that embodied the perfect intimate vibe for their garden-inspired brunch wedding. "The venue is a beautiful Cincinnati landmark that really exemplifies the greenery that's so prevalent in our city," Liz says. "Tenting the reception gave our guests the opportunity to be outdoors and really enjoy the natural beauty of space." That morning on the venue's lawn, Liz and Mike got married at the white iron wedding arch draped with white linens and topped with garden roses that set a lovely ambience. The day's palette of navy blue and white, was reflected perfectly in the wedding party attire—from the navy blue bridesmaid dresses with a V-neck to navy and white gingham shirts won by the groomsmen. The Fig Tree Florist & Gifts decorated dining tables at the tented reception with centerpieces of soft colored roses mixed with a range of wildflowers, making sure the blooms matched the garden-inspired theme and surrounding natural environment at large. But what's a brunch without a delicious spread of sweets and treats? We absolutely loved Holtman's Donuts selection of danishes and cinnamon sugar twists, plus the blueberry cake that served as great alternative to the traditional wedding cake.
