A Classic Black and White Wedding at Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa in British Columbia, Canada

Julia Scarrow (24, a Certified Dental Assistant) and Sean Beintema (28, a Contractor) met in high school and became friends when they started working at the same company together. Five and a half years later, Sean proposed to Julia after a lightning storm at Radium Hot Springs. Inspired by their engagement, the couple decided on an outdoor wedding at Harrison Hot Springs, one of their favorite places to visit. The couple went for a classic black and white theme for their wedding, with white roses, lisianthuses, mums and calla lilies coupled with black and silver wires and small crystals for the custom made centerpieces and floral decor. After a large buffet style dinner a large candy bar was presented to guests as a sweet thank you for attending the wedding.  "Our whole wedding was really about combining our styles and making every element something that reflected us," Julia says.
