A Classic Black and Gold Wedding at the Warehouse Restaurant and Lounge in Gainesville, Florida

Between the DIY stationery and location, Ashley Ernst (23 and an event planner) and Charlie Gorden’s (24 and in software sales) classic wedding couldn't have been more customized. “Gainesville, home of the University of Florida, is where we met and fell in love,” Ashley says. Having their entire celebration in Gainesville, was a natural choice. After a custom unity-salt ceremony on campus, everyone went to a chic reception at the Warehouse Restaurant and Lounge. The planning pros at Masterpiece Weddings (Ashley was a former intern there) took care of all the black, gold and pink details. Each exposed wood or gold-linen-covered table was accented with Ashley’s favorite peonies in lush low or tall centerpieces from Keith Watson Events, as well as tons of elegant candlelight. Their 110 guests were treated to Ashley and Charlie’s favorite meals from the restaurant and a pecan naked cake that showed off her Southern roots. Of course, having a great time was also super-important, so the Hons Photo snapped away as they finished the night with a photo booth and an all-out dance party.
