A Classic Ballroom Wedding at the Omni Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Both working or studying over 200 hours a week, Jennifer (24 and a social media strategist) and Benjamin (26 and a medical student) decided to give Tinder a try. Jennifer says, "I never knew that visiting my mom in Philadelphia one weekend and a few swipes on my iPhone screen would change my life forever. I didn't take the app seriously at the time and had zero intentions to meet anyone from the app in person." She struck up a conversation with Ben, however, and after regular text conversations, she decided to up the ante with a trip back to Philadelphia. When Jennifer's dad passed away from cancer when she was eight, she struggled to imagine her wedding day without him, but when she found out that my some twist of fate, Ben's parents knew her father's family (and their close friends even knew her father), she took it as an unmistakable sign that she and Ben were meant to be. Ben and Jennifer dated long distance while she worked in New York, but eventually she committed to moving to Philadelphia. Just a few weeks after Jennifer moved, Ben proposed on Mother's Day surrounded by both their families. Although they originally wanted an outdoor spring wedding, Ben's school schedule didn't permit, so they held an indoor ballroom wedding in November at the Omni Hotel in Old City Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Coincidentally, one of Ben's closest college friends is Justin Alexander, owner and CEO of a significant wedding dress label, so Jennifer got to walk down the aisle in a strapless ball gown that was as glamorous as it was personal. On the same note, one of Jennifer's high school friends conveniently owns a bakery and generously offered to make both the five-tier wedding cake and a selection of whimsically-decorated cookies (Tinder-themed!). Since both the bride and groom are Jewish, they held their wedding on a Sunday, making it the perfect wedding for a brunch buffet, complete with crepes, waffles, french toast, omelets, and Bloody Marys. At the end of the evening, Jennifer and Ben rode off in a horse drawn carriage to conclude their perfect wedding day.
