Highs chool sweethearts Chastain (21 and a Radiologic Technologists) and Scott (22 and an electrician) took their relationship to a new level atop the Skyview Ferris Wheel in Atlanta, Georgia. "Scott began talking about how he saw our life together and how far we had come since the day he had asked me to be his girlfriend during weight training class," says Chastain. "He then proceeded to get down on one knee as we were approaching the very top of the Ferris wheel!" With a round diamond engagement ring and a spring date in mind, Chastain began planning her black and white wedding with bold pops of her favorite color—aqua blue. The couple picked Rose Hall Event Center to host their affair not only for the diverse indoor and outdoor options, but also for their all-inclusive package. Guests lucked out when the rainy cleared moments before the rose bush-lined outdoor ceremony  and enjoyed a dinner buffet and vanilla cake along with bride and groom trivia. "My theme for the wedding was a simple elegance," says Chastain. "I wanted everything to look expensive but on a smaller budget!"

Chastain found her gown as well as her aqua bridesmaid dresses at David's Bridal. "For my dress, I was going for a princess- or fairytale-inspired look but I didn't want it too over the top!" says Chastain.

The bridesmaids carried an all-white rose bouquet with an unexpected twist: a few of the blooms were dipped in aqua paint.
The groomsmen incorporated the black, white and aqua wedding colors by pairing blue vests with their black tuxedos from Men's Wearhouse.

It was pouring rain up until Chastain and Scott's outdoor rose garden ceremony. "All of our pictures were behind schedule because of all the rain and I was stressed out to the max!" says Chastain. But luckily for the newlyweds, the clouds cleared and the weather held up for their affair!

"It was pouring rain on our wedding day and our ceremony was supposed to be outdoors," says Chastain. "I was stressed out to the max but the rain began to clear right before the ceremony and it turned out to be a beautiful night!"
"We Picked Rose Hall Event Center because it had everything we were looking for," says Chastain. "It has beautiful rose bushes lining the entire aisle, a gazebo that you get married under and an all-inclusive wedding package."

The DJ played bride and groom trivia with guests leading up to their first dance.
In addition to the classic four-tiered buttercream cake with blue accents, Chastain and Scott served red velvet and chocolate cupcakes.
My color palette was Black, White, and Aqua Blue. Aqua is my favorite color so that was a must have.
