Krystina and Jonathan Purkey's wedding at Planterra Conservatory was inspired by something unexpected: the bride's dress. "I had always envisioned a blush, sparkly dress, and it always made me think of an ethereal, romantic garden," Krystina says. "I wanted guests to be transported to a loving, magical and inspiring space." They chose a color palette of blush, white and dusty blue (the color of the bridesmaid dresses)—but they also incorporated dark greenery and wood for the fall season. The ceremony took place against a romantic backdrop of a greenery wall, soft-colored garden roses and draping. "My uncle was gracious enough to marry us," Krystina says. "It was a dream of mine to have a family member officiate the ceremony, and it really added something special to the day." Guests consulted a classic seating chart sign, then found their places at the stunning reception. It was held in a room in Planterra Conservatory with indoor trees and a curved glass roof.  Long tables with cross-back chairs were topped with taper candles, greenery and white and blush flowers. Family members shared their talents and took part in the day's entertainment—for example, a family friend and his band performed at cocktail hour, and Krystina's cousin served as the DJ.
