A Chic Vintage Wedding at The Inn at Park Winters in Winters, California

It was a three-hour drive that kept Ashley Grech (30, Interior Designer) and Sean Grech (31, Lineman) apart for three years. “We met at a local bar in Chico, CA called Riley's,” explained Ashley. Their friends were playing matchmaker and brought Sean into town to meet Ashley and the two instantly knew there was a connection, but the distance was too much. It wasn’t until Ashley was able to make the move from Chico, CA to San Francisco, CA the two were finally re-united. “We’ve been together ever since,” said Ashley. Then on a trip to Monterery, CA Sean proposed to Ashley on Lover Point. “Its a beautiful rocky area where you can walk out onto the rocks and watch the waves crash in, said Ashley. “I wish I could remember everything that he said. I think we were both on a high of excitement mixed in with a bit of nervousness.”When it came time to picking the venue, Ashley and Sean knew they wanted something vintage and romantic with a modern twist. They chose The Inn at Park Winters in Winters, CA. “Our venue choice spoke to us perfectly, a little country, a little luxury, combined with the love for vintage design,” said Ashley. “We chose this location because we wanted an outdoor wedding and the grounds were just beautiful, plus we liked the idea of a weekend stay versus a one day event and then it’s over.” The entire event and all the little details reflected both Ashley and Sean as a couple. “We made most choices together,” said Ashely. “And some choices were made by me when Sean was exhausted with wedding talk.”
