A Chic, Verdant Wedding at the Downtown Club in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Salena Fuscia (33, medical technician) and Brian Lipski (32, in talent acquisition) have known each other since grade school, but it wasn't until they got reacquainted after college that they began dating. Dating led to an engagement, and the couple decided to get married at the Downtown Club in Philadelphia, a Cescaphe venue. "We chose this venue because it's all-inclusive. There aren't any hidden costs and you don't need to add any upgrades," says Salena. Although they were having a fall wedding, they wanted their decor to feel lush and elegant. For their color palette, they chose elegant shades of forest green, cream, taupe and black. Brian wore a black tuxedo and a black bow tie with a white rose boutonniere. Salena wore a cream organza ball gown by Vera Wang with a sheer, three quarter sleeve cover up embellished with lace appliques, which she paired with a long veil. The bridesmaids wore taupe Bill Levkoff dresses with shoulder straps and cummerbund waists, which they paired with gold and green jewelry. Flower arrangements at the reception included white hydrangeas, ferns, Spanish moss, green hypercium berries, white roses, white chrysanthemums, and curly willow branches. The signs at the wedding were beautifully done, with different black fonts on green polka dot paper and a repeated tree motif that the couple had on their wedding invitations.
