A Chic, Upscale Country Wedding at Snake River Ranch in Wilson, Wyoming

For rustic refinement like never before seen, Chutney Hunter (30 and a stylist at Elyse Walker) and Steve Li (42 and a lawyer) knew they wanted a farm and ranch venue complete with a nothing-short-of-impressive barn. It wasn’t until the Los Angeles-based couple found Snake River Ranch that they truly settled on Wyoming for their wedding. Inspired by the stunning views of the Snake River and the Grand Tetons, Chutney and Steve chose a green, white and blush palette to keep the look soft and natural and allow the organic space and rustic venue to set the scene. Kendra Hobson, the couple’s all-star wedding planner from Simply Grand Weddings and Events, brought Chutney and Steve’s upscale country theme to life. Antlers, barrels, toy guns and leafy garlands were the perfect mix of quintessential Wyoming and soft garden romance. Fully embracing the aura of the day, Chutney and Steve also asked their guests to wear “cowboy couture.” Everyone took it to heart, donning rancher hats, chunky belts and even boots. Chutney stole the show, though, with her amazing J. Mendel blush and ivory dress. Its modern lines mixed with soft layers fit her personality and style exquisitely. There are so many details we love—see them all, beautifully captured by the talented Carrie Patterson Photography, below.

Chutney wanted shoes that would match her stunning J. Mendel dress. She found the perfect fit with her champagne lace Jimmy Choo peep-toe booties.
Chutney's bouquet echoed the softness of her J. Mendel dress. The round blooms included only ivory and blush peonies and sweet peas.
Chutney and Steve had green toy guns tied with kraft paper that said, “Fire away when he kisses the bride!” Guests shot the guns into the air during the first kiss, and used them as photo props during the reception.
Chutney and Steve exchanged vows on top of the Wilson, Wyoming, ranch’s levy overlooking the Snake River and the Grand Tetons. They created their stunning altar using a farm table topped with two wooden barrels filled with Queen Anne’s lace.
Since Chutney is a fashion stylist, she found her dreamy, ivory and blush J. Mendel dress right off the runway. Its modern lines mixed with soft layers fit her personality and style exquisitely. The skirt would luff lightly in the breeze as she walked creating an entrance every time she appeared.

Chutney and Steve really wanted a barn wedding. But they didn't settle on Jackson Hole until they found the red barn at Snake River Ranch in Wilson, Wyoming. They wanted everything to feel like an upscale rustic Wyoming wedding with classic, chic details.
After the ceremony, guests walked along a path through the pastures to the old red barn for cocktail hour. The cocktail space featured a bar lit by antique chandeliers. Lounge spaces included hay bales and ranch furniture inside the barn and rustic pieces from Hunter Gatherer outside.

White and blush flowers tucked into a seeded eucalyptus garland down the center of the natural wood farm tables, adding an overgrown garden aura to the reception. Chutney and Steve added plenty of romance to the tent, with candlelight from antique brass candlesticks scattered on the tables.

Each place setting had a custom-printed linen napkin with the couple's seal on it. Chutney found a stationery store next to her work in Los Angeles, California, and began drafting their invites right away. She and Steve chose kraft paper with green lettering to match the natural setting and neutral palette.
