“All the stuff that might have gone wrong with my wedding didn’t matter because in the end, I married my best friend,” says Heidi Morazes (graphic designer). She and Trey Roeser (graphic designer) had a chic, rustic wedding at the Scotterley Plantation in Hollywood, Maryland. For their outdoor ceremony and barn reception, Heidi and Trey chose a bright and airy color scheme of yellow, white and green, with flower arrangements of sunflowers, hydrangeas and wildflowers. The ceremony featured haystack seating and the aisle was lined with silver pails filled with sunflowers and wildflowers. The barn for the reception was decorated with burlap drapes, string lighting, and centerpieces of lanterns with sunflowers and hydrangeas. The seating chart was displayed on a recycled, vintage fence frame and the couple provided their guests with eco-friendly plates made out of leaves. Heidi wore a beautiful lace sheath wedding dress with a mantilla veil, while Trey wore a khaki suit with a pale yellow tie and a boutonniere made out of golf tees. Heidi and Trey's bright, eco-friendly barn wedding was chic and fun.
