A Chic, Rustic Wedding at La Massaria at Bella Vista in Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania
The brainchild of Christin Carswell (28 and a financial analyst) and Edward Carswell (27 and a superintendent), this traditional Pennsylvania wedding mixes two styles we didn't expect: classic and rustic. Nestled between the ornate Blessed Teresa of Calcutta church and woodsy La Massaria at Bella Vista barn, every part of their celebration juxtaposed the themes—from the wedding party attire to the centerpieces and favors. Baby's breath wrapped in ivory lace bows accented every other pew, lining the aisle. Their bridesmaids processed into the ceremony in elegant, long black dresses, matching the groomsmen's formal black tuxedos. Christin and Eddie's reception took on the same color scheme with all-black folding chairs and timeless white linens. Each had a mason jar centerpiece wrapped in a wood-inspired table number and placed on a natural wooden base. Table about natural! Christin and Eddie’s favors were personalized mason jars. Right Start Photography captured it all on camera. See all these details, plus a textured buttercream wedding cake, below.
