A Chic, Rustic Wedding at Aria in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Danielle Grover (29 and a project manager) and Eric Grover (27 and a merchant) took the storage facility turned event space at the Aria in Minneapolis and created an urban, rustic wedding using chic decor with pops of coral. "It's rustic, but at the same time has chandeliers and sparkly modern features," Danielle says of the wedding venue. The wedding day photographer, JM Photography, followed their special day, being sure to capture all of the Aria's natural decor that they loved so much. Adding chic touches to the day, Danielle and Eric chose a gray and coral palette with the coral colors adding pops of color in the urban-style event space. Their florist, Forever in Bloom, used brightly colored summer flowers, including roses, ranunculus, dahlias and succulents, to create the beautiful flower arrangements displayed throughout the day. One of Danielle's favorite decor elements was the potted succulent plants used as place cards. Danielle and Eric attached the handmade place cards to toothpicks, then placed them in the small plants for all their guests. Danielle also loved the pretty rose gold-sequined tablecloths she purchased from the Etsy shop, Sparkle Soiree. "They were beautifully made, and I am still obsessed with them to this day," she says. Keeping with their laid-back style, Danielle and Eric had a buffet-style dinner catered by Deco Catering. "Deco was not only affordable, but the best wedding food that many of our guests had enjoyed before," Danielle says. "Overall, the whole day was pretty simple and laid-back with good food and good music, which suits our tastes pretty well."
