A Chic Mountain Wedding at YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado
With stunning views of the Rocky Mountains and yellow aspen leaves from the fall season, it’s no wonder Kimberly Harle (31 and works in public relations) and Carlos Solis (31 and a lawyer) chose YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado, for their nuptials. Inspired by their location, they tied all the details together with the look and feel of Estes Park, such as invitations printed on actual wood, the rocking chair cake topper and pine needles in the floral arrangements. Even unpredictable Colorado weather couldn’t ruin their day, which started in pouring rain, showed some sun during the ceremony and ended in snowflakes. One of our favorite parts was Kimberly’s stunning Victor Harper Couture gown from Impressions Bridal—don’t even get us started on the mermaid-style silhouette, ornate beading and gorgeous lace applique. Since the ceremony was outside in the weather, she completed her look with a vintage fur stole and tulle veil. For the reception, she ditched the cover-up and traded her veil for some small flowers. Another standout detail? The ultra-personalization (a detail we always love). Wanting all their guests to feel like part of their love story, they had everyone participate in the traditions. Kimberly and Carlos also combined their heritages with a bilingual ceremony and a Spanish unity-coins ceremony. There are so many details we love—see them all, beautifully captured by Jackie Willome Photography, below.
