Erinn Wertz (28 and works in sales) and Joseph Schmitt’s (27 and works in sales) gold flatware, wood candlesticks and accents in plum and champagne made for an affair that felt both romantic and relaxed.

“I wanted a look that wasn’t too feminine,” Erinn says of juxtaposing organic rose-filled arrangements with bold navy-and-white-striped details. In addition to a custom, 24-foot-long mahogany wood bar, guest amenities included a plush seating area and smoking lounge.

Guests enjoyed vanilla cake, assorted candies and various cupcakes for dessert.

The pair returned to Erinn’s hometown of Belmont to celebrate on the local country club’s 14th hole. “The party overlooked the Rogue River and a small pond nearby,” Erinn says of their secluded setting. “It was situated on the perfect spot that made you feel like you were escaping from everything.”

Bridesmaids carried compact bunches of quicksand roses, hellebores, clematis and blushing bride proteas.
